DIGITAL DENTURE

A new process has been established to achieve high-precision functional results in a few steps: Digital Denture. This term describes a comprehensive workflow for CAD/CAM produced complete dentures. The process incorporates innovative appliances, software programs and coordinated materials for dentists and dental technicians.

The workflow begins with an impression-taking and registration of the patient's oral situation using clinical auxiliaries to optimise customized data capturing. This information is transferred to the design software via an add-on software module and incorporated into the denture design. Once the design is complete, the denture base is milled from coordinated materials in an indication-optimized CAM unit.

Scanner and professional software

The Digital Denture Professional add-on module builds on the software modules from. It offers enhanced user convenience and heightened denture quality and functionality. Custom trays with integrated bite registration can be constructed digitally. This makes it possible to enter the digital workflow at an early stage of the fabrication process. The software is linked to the patient-specific occlusal plane, centric relation, and vertical occlusal dimension. Exclusive sample setups using Ivoclar Vivadent and Candulor molds are integrated into the tooth library.
